Declaration of Love

Anne-Sophie Mutter loves Mozart. She holds the deepest possible respect for him and is sure "he will continue to live on when I am long forgotten". This leaves us wondering whether anything better could happen to Mozart right now than to have such an excellent violinist performing his music. Anne-Sophie has played Mozart’s violin concertos innumerable times. So why does she play them again and again? "Because I love his music so much. It sends shivers down my spine, it makes me cry and it is so moving for my audiences". Together with the Kammerorchester Wien – Berlin, she will also pay tribute to another love of her life, André Previn.  As her husband and close artistic advisor, he composed several works that speak directly to her soul. "He helped me find musical freedom", Anne-Sophie explains as she expresses her gratitude for his support on her personal artistic journey.
