- Cloakroom
Elbphilharmonie
The cloakrooms for the Main Hall are located on the 11th floor. There is a cloakroom for the Small Hall in the foyer of the Small Hall on the 10th floor. Although we are no longer able to offer our subscription holders a free cloakroom service due to house rules, you are welcome to take your coats into the hall if you wish.
Laeiszhalle
Cloakrooms are located in the foyer. Strollers, rollators, umbrellas, ladies’ or gentlemen’s handbags larger than A3 size (42 cm × 30 cm), as well as sports rucksacks, bags and luggage must be left at the cloakroom. Jackets may be taken into the auditorium.

- Catering
Elbphilharmonie
Visitors can enjoy refreshments at three bars in the foyers of the Small and Large Halls before the concert and during the intervals. The catering facilities in the Small and Large Halls open 60 minutes before the concert begins. Table reservations are not available.
Laeiszhalle
Refreshments are available in the Brahms Foyer and on the ground floor of the Great Hall before the concerts and during the intervals.

About the Concert
- Doors Open
Please allow plenty of time for your journey and to find your way to the concert hall. If you are visiting the Elbphilharmonie, we recommend arriving at the main entrance 45 minutes before the concert begins.
The foyers of the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle open 60 minutes before the concert begins. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
Late admission for visitors arriving late can only be granted by staff during intervals and cannot be guaranteed.
- Photography and Mobile Phones
For copyright reasons, photography and audio recordings are not allowed during the concerts.
If you have a mobile phone or smartwatch, please ensure all sound notifications are switched off.
- Concert Duration
The approximate end time for each concert is available online at proarte.de on the relevant concert page.
- Late Admission
If you arrive late, please speak to a member of the foyer staff. We will do our best to seat you as soon as possible, but we ask for your understanding that disruptions to the performance must be kept to a minimum. In rare cases, you may only be able to take your seat during the intermission.
- Changes in Programme or of Performers
We make every effort to avoid changes to the programme, cast, or concert dates. Nevertheless, some changes may occasionally occur. Up-to-date information can be found in our online concert search, and important announcements are shared free of charge via our email newsletter, subscriber service letters, the press, and our social media channels. Please note that such changes do not entitle ticket or subscription holders to a refund.
- Programme Booklet
A complimentary programme booklet is provided at our concerts. You can pick it up in the foyer or receive it from the front-of-house staff. Approximately one week before the concert, the booklet can also be downloaded as a PDF on the respective concert page.

- Directions for visitors with reduced mobility
By public transport
The Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle can both be reached by public transport. The stops are accessible for people with reduced mobility.
By car
Elbphilharmonie
Elbphilharmonie car park: Accessible parking spaces are available on levels 4 and 5. The payment machines are accessible and offer both an intercom connection to the car park control centre and a video link. The maximum vehicle height for entry is 2.10 metres.
Please note: The Plaza as well as the Grand Hall and Recital Hall of the Elbphilharmonie cannot be accessed directly by lift from the car park. Please use lift group B to travel from your parking level to the ground floor first. After passing through ticket control at the main entrance, you can then take lift group A to the Plaza and continue from there to the concert halls.
Laeiszhalle
Gänsemarkt car park: Dammtorwall / Welckerstraße
There are three accessible parking spaces directly at the Laeiszhalle, at the entrance on Gorch-Fock-Wall. A further six accessible parking spaces are available directly in front of the artists’ entrance on Dragonerstall.
- Accessibility
All halls in the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle offer spaces for wheelchair users, as well as accompanying seats where applicable; these are also indicated in the seating plans.
The Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle can both be reached by public transport. The stops are accessible for people with reduced mobility.

- Ticket orders for wheelchair users
Wheelchair-accessible seats for ProArte concerts are available at a reduced rate and can be booked by phone on +49 40 35 35 55 or online at proarte.de.
People with disabilities with a degree of disability of 70% or more, as well as their companion (if the disability is registered as ‘B’), receive a 15 % discount on the net ticket price.
Wheelchair users receive a 50 % discount on the net ticket price, and their companion a 15 % discount.
Discounts apply to single tickets only. Proof of eligibility must be presented at the entrance without being asked. Tickets already purchased at full price cannot be discounted at a later date.
- Toilets
Accessible toilets at the Elbphilharmonie
- Grand Hall foyer: on the 12th floor on the north side, and on the 13th floor to the right of the main bar.
- Recital Hall foyer: on the 10th floor.
- Entrance area / ground floor: in the corridor to the right of the main escalator, behind the Elbphilharmonie box office.
Accessible toilets at the Laeiszhalle
- Grand Hall: in the stalls area, on the left behind the cloakroom.
- Recital Hall: to the right of the auditorium entrance.
Accessible toilets at both venues are unlocked.
