Dutch Dynamite
"A pianist to watch out for", the press wrote about Nikola Meeuwsen after he was awarded first prize at the prestigious Concours Reine Elisabeth 2025 in Brussels. This approachable and likeable pianist was the youngest contender and the first Dutchman to win the competition. He plays with unshakable virtuosity and a wide range of colour. Still only in his early twenties, he has been in great demand since winning the competition with numerous offers of concerts and management contracts. Janine Jansen appointed him as Artist in Residence for her chamber music festival in Utrecht, and he also caused quite a stir as a stand-in for Maria João Pires. At his debut concert in Dusseldorf, we can relive his competition success as he again performs the Variations Sérieuses by Felix Mendelssohn.

There are currently no more tickets available for the current season’s Abo G - Talente entdecken.
