At this festive time of year, we all love to hear music that is enchanting, exciting and magical. It can often also be tender, reflective and heart-warming, just like the breathtakingly beautiful version of Ave Maria that was recorded in a stairwell by four charming young men in baseball caps, uploaded to YouTube and viewed by millions. The a cappella quartet named themselves Kings Return. "We are kings who set out to conquer, but more importantly, we then return to give back to our communities". Joyce DiDonato was among those who saw the kings with the noble mission and the golden voices online. She contacted them immediately and is now performing together with them. This Christmas concert is truly a gift. When four kings and a world-class vocal artist with a heavenly voice greet the Messiah, then Christmas must be just around the corner!
