In Perfect Harmony
Exactly four years ago, the world of classical music was buzzing with the exciting news that Klaus Mäkelä is to be appointed chief conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. His tenure officially begins in the autumn of 2027. The shooting star of conducting was only in his early twenties when he was offered this prestigious role and didn’t need to think twice before accepting. Born in Finland, he had always dreamt of working in the musical mecca of Amsterdam. "The Concertgebouw Orchestra has one of the rarest, most unique and distinct sounds in the world", he says enthusiastically. Over the last few years in his job as Artistic Partner of the orchestra, he has been given the opportunity to build a close working relationship with the Dutch musicians. At their concert in Hamburg, we will be able to see just how well-tuned the partnership between the talented youngster and the venerable orchestra has become. Be prepared for an electrifying atmosphere as they perform in perfect harmony!

There are currently no more tickets available for the current season’s Abo B - Internationale Orchester.
